*Christmas* is in the air. At work and Home, we already started playing Christmas songs as well as in Malls and shops everywhere. Though we are having low pressures these days, and continuously raining, still it won’t stop the holidays as its already fast approaching. Because of the recent weather conditions, we experience cold winds but we more think of it as *Christmas air** ~!

I would like to share some Christmas songs we are all familiar with but sung in Chinese. Sounds fun and we all love it here~!! I picked 4 of these songs to share to you as they really sounds pretty good to me ^q^ and will bring so much joy and cheers this holiday season.***

Last night, Kapamilya Network( ABS~CBN) launched this year's Christmas Station ID. I really love it. You can really feel the true meaning of Christmas. It “reflects the unsinkable spirit of the Filipinos” that no matter what difficulties we have to weather through in life, we will rise above it.

The Seven commandos beach

The seven commandos beach situated at the South West of El Nido is only reachable by boat. During the day It is a deserted beach offering a postcard view but when the sun begin to decline it is the final spot for the boat trips where people can take a final bath before going back to El Nido. Protected against the cliff a coconut plantation gives generously shadow at the warmer moment of the day.

La plage des 7 Commandos située au sud-ouest d'El Nido ne peut être atteinte que par mer. Pendant la journée c'est une plage déserte offrant une vue de carte postale mais quand le soleil décline elle devient le point final des excursions en mer où le public peu prendre un dernier bain avant de rejoindre El Nido. Protégé contre la falaise une cocoteraie donne généreusement de l'ombrage au moment le plus chaud de la journée.

La partie Est de la falaise est verticale bloquant le passage au marcheur qui a uniquement la possiblité de nager ou de lever les yeux au ciel. Je choisis la second option parce que la plage de Corong Corong était éloignée et parce que j'avais mon appareil photo entre les mains.

On the Est side the cliff is very vertical blocking the way to the walker who has only the possibility to swim or to look up at the sky. I choosed the second option because Corong Corong beach was to far and also because I had my camera on hand.

(Update) Philippines imposes emergency; massacre toll reaches 57*

AMPATUAN, Philippines (Reuters) - The Philippines placed two southern provinces and a city under emergency rule on Tuesday after gunmen killed 46 people in a brutal election-related massacre that has shocked the country.

Many of the victims in the killings in Maguindanao province were women from the powerful Mangudadatu clan. About a dozen journalists were also among the dead.

"There is an urgent need to prevent and suppress the occurrence of several other incidents of lawless violence," Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said while announcing the emergency.

The adjoining provinces of Maguindanao and Sultan Kudarat and nearby Cotabato City will be under an indefinite state of emergency, which gives the military and police wide powers of arrest and detention.

The orders were issued as troops, using shovels and their bare hands, dug up hastily covered graves on a grassy hillside in Maguindanao to recover the victims of Monday's massacre. Police spokesman Leonardo Espina said 46 bodies had been found.

A Reuters photographer at the scene saw many of the bodies with bullet and machete wounds. Some of the dead men had their hands tied behind their backs and one of the women was pregnant.

"This atrocity leaves a deep wound in our national psyche," said Ralph Recto, a former senator. "It is as if each one of us has been stabbed."

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ordered extra troops to the region and sacked the Maguindanao provincial police chief.

"No effort will be spared to bring justice to the victims and hold the perpetrators accountable to the full limit of the law," she said.

The Mangudadatus, accompanied by lawyers and journalists, were on their way to file the nomination of one of their clan in elections next May. No men from the family were present, since they believed that women would not be attacked by rivals.

But the convoy was held up by about 100 armed men, who herded the group away from the highway and then attacked them with M-16 rifles and machetes.

The dead included Genalyn Tiamzon-Mangudadatu, whose husband Esmael wanted to contest the governorship of Maguindanao against Datu Andal Ampatuan, the head of another powerful local family.

Ampatuan, an ally of Arroyo, has been elected governor of Maguindanao three times previously. One of his sons is the governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, an area which covers six provinces. The town near where the massacre took place bears the name of his family.

None of the Ampatuans made any comment to local or foreign media. But Presidential Adviser Jesus Dureza told television that the family was willing to answer any questions.

No arrests have been made so far.

Interior Secretary Ronaldo Puno said investigations would be completed within a couple of days and arrests made.

"There are no sacred cows," he told television, adding that both the Ampatuans and the Mangudadatus were allied to the government.

"We have some information about specific names, not just those who ordered this thing, but also those who committed it."

The election process for the May 2010 national polls began last week with the filing of candidacies for more than 17,800 national and local positions.

Elections in the Philippines are usually marred by violence, especially in the south, where security forces are battling communist rebels, Islamist radicals and clan rivalries.

Many of the rich and powerful in the region employ private armies, which are often used to telling effect during elections.

Esmael Mangudadatu, Genalyn's husband, told radio that four people had escaped the massacre and were under his care. "They will come out at the right time, they are safe with us," he said.

Tropical Depression Urduja

It has been raining these past few days or for weeks now. Last night, we found out that the Low Pressure in our area has now a Tropical Depression and Storm signal # 1 has been raised. The rain last night was so heavy and It's already flooding in some areas of the city.

Christmas Time is fast approaching and for me it’s a *fairy god mommy* time!!! Yeah, I am a godmother of 9 kids/babies ~since I was 21 ^0^ ~ I really love being one, because I so love kids and babies, their presence really do make me so happy. And during this season, buying presents for them is really a must! Like I’m a Santa lol ~ not only for them but also for other kids who are so dear to my ♥heart♥..

Meet Baby Jian ~ He’s my first godson, way back 2006 and I was just 21 that time. He already turned 3 last April 14^th. The 1^st as they always say is lucky especially it’s a baby boy. I always believe in that! His dad is one of my staff and mom , too. I picked the name *jian* for them and joseph was derived from the dad’s name.

Aljon ~ the 2^nd... Again, a boy! I seldom see him. Only when they visit me at work. He is a snub kid, really. He doesn’t talk much like others. Or maybe shy? He also turned 3 last January 29^th. I was asked to be a godmother by his late Grandma ~ I already met his parents during one of the company’s year-end parties.

Albert ~ 3^rd and I don’t have any photo of him as they live in other city, though am trying to asked from his mom if she could email it to me or mms maybe. He’ll be turning 3 this 26^th next month [after xmas].. His mom was a friend and co-employee before when we used to work for Johnson & Johnsons. [ no photo available] ..

Trip to Enchanted Kingdom - OtakonEK 2009 ! ! !

Last year, I said that OtakonEK will be my pilgrimage because Azrael confirmed that this will happen every September. OtakonEK was a bit postponed this year due to typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) [link, viewable by family & friends only], which hit the country a day before its actual date. I also thought that I won't be able to attend because of my work's schedule. As if luck was really on my side, I had an acute laryngitis which became my excuse for skipping our shift. Even without a voice, I can still have fun!!! Dada was against it at first but when I explained to him that I have been planning this for the longest, he then allowed me to go. Wheee!!!

Leidi and Prinny

Jeiro and Lora went to EK wearing Pirate costumes while Leidi and I were just wearing casual clothes. I planned on donning the Scarlet gown [link], but I realized that it would be too cumbersome and I don't want to pose for pictures there (yeah, I have issues).

Leidi and I missed both the 10:30AM and 12:30NN shuttles so we had to commute going to Sta.Rosa, Laguna. I was thinking that if something else goes wrong or if we get lost, we might not make it to EK! During those times, I realized that people can either be complete @$$h073S or be very helpful to the needy. Some people took advantage of the situation and charged us too high for fares, while some are very kind to point us the fastest routes and tell us the actual rates.

We arrived in EK around 1:30PM and immediately stashed our bags in the locker area. Leidi was a bit reminiscing because she said that the last time she's been there was when she was ten. It was time for her to feel the thrills of the rides she missed during her elementary years! LOL!

1) Roller Skater (mini roller coaster) -- Leidi wanted to try Dodgem (bump cars) but I told her that it's too boring so as an appetizer, I took her here. I think she had fun. Hehe~

2) Anchor's Away (swaying pirate ship) -- The line was pretty long and we waited for about 10 minutes before our turn. While standing in line, Leidi felt scared as she heard the screams and wanted to back out. I firmly told her "NO! We are going to take the topmost seats! You see blood everyday [you're a nurse-to-be!] and you can't handle this?!" Hehehe~ Of course, people go to EK to experience the thrills and I want nothing less. While the ship was swaying back and forth, Leidi got really scared at tinawag na niya ang lahat ng mga santo! LoL! She screamed "OH MY GOD -TAMA NA - SHET - ANG PUSO KO - LORD - OPERATOR - STOP - AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" all in one breath! LoL!

3) Grand Carousel - no lines, I wonder why? LoL!

4) Flying Fiesta (wave swinger) - Leidi said that if she survived Anchor's Away, she can survive anything! LoL!

Sky Wizards 2009

5) Wheel of Fate (giant ferris wheel) - it was our time to relax a bit and enjoy the view.

6) Rialto (motion sim theater - feat. Speed Racer) - if my reaction to Sponge Bob was "That was it?!" for Speed Racer it was "What the fn(K"?!"

7) Jungle Log Jam (log flumes) - We didn't get wet. It was still cold, though.

8) Rio Grande Rapids (river rafting) - We were VEERRRRYYYYYY WET! LoL!

Despite the fact that we arrived late, we still managed to try out eight rides. This is my best record as of late. LoL! The Space Shuttle is undergoing maintenance so Leidi wasn't able to feel what it's like being the signature ride of EK. Nonetheless, we're able to watch the Sky Wizard fireworks display contest. The entry that we liked was #11.

Relax : Sucking does not kill~!!

Last night, when I went to pharmacy to buy milk, I saw this pack of mini lollipops which the cover really caught my eyes. It’s just so funny~! I know chupa chups lollipops always got funny commercials. And this one is mini , and first time I saw it in a pack. On the label said : "Chupa Chups recommends: candies instead of cigarettes!"
